Cristina Rodriguez
Cristina Rodriguez is a multidisciplinary fine artist from Gibraltar. Her artwork aims to challenge boundaries by enhancing a tactile and visual experience. Cristina graduated from Loughborough University specialising in sculpture and installation. She explores the act of play through art with a close connection to childhood memories, working across a wide range of materials and processes.
Inspired by her childhood scribbles on paper, her current work questions the transition between drawing and sculpture by blurring the boundaries between both disciplines. Cristina investigates the correlation between line, form, surface, material and the importance of space in both practices by drawing with salvaged industrial materials.
